Episode 19 - Back to Random

I can't remember if I've ever clearly spelled out my process.  I'm up to 7760 Creative Commons tracks in my iTunes, though not all metal.  I click autofill to randomly fill my 8 GB iPod Nano, then listen to this on shuffle all week.  If I like a song enough to play it and think it fits, I put it on my On-The-Go playlist on the iPod, then transfer it to one of my upcoming playlists (I have about 5 going at a time).  There is some method, but a whole lot of random to this process.  I also try not to repeat songs, and have a master playlist of what has already been played to prevent this.  If I've played a song you really want to hear again, let me know and I'll get it into an upcoming episode.  By the way, did you know the entire playlist is clickable every week?  The link will take you to the page where I found the music so you too can support the each band!
