Episode 9 - Anarchic

I've been waiting a bit to do this one, but I think the time is finally here.  Last spring, I discovered the album Anarchic by the band Skagos.  At the time, only the first two sides of the album were uploaded to their Bandcamp page.  While waiting for the release of Side C, I went to the site and streamed what was already there almost every day.  I truly fell in love with this album.  Side C has been out for awhile now, but I wanted to build the show for a couple months before I played the album.  I love it so much, that I am playing the whole thing.  I find it intense, haunting, discontent, heart-wrenching, and desperate.  It is also a truly beautiful piece of music in the Cascadian Black Metal style.  Starting in the second hour of the show, I play all three sides.  It is almost 70 minutes long, so if your not interested (I hope you will be), then check back at about 11:05 to catch the start of the song immediately following, as I go back to a good mix of styles.
